Updates to Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

Overview

Effective September 25, 2026, we have updated the CROSSIA Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

We have revised both documents throughout to reflect new features such as AI-generated audio.

If you use the Service on or after the effective date, please review the updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Key Changes

Operators

The Service is operated by our US parent company, Gakugeki Inc., and our Japanese entity, Gakugeki Co., Ltd. (株式会社学檄). The addresses of both companies are now listed.

Paid Services and Credits

Prices and the number of credits required are shown on screen before you purchase or use them.

Credits cannot be exchanged for cash, or transferred or lent to anyone else.

Purchased credits are non-refundable, except where permitted by law or where we are at fault.

AI Features and Generated Content

We have set out what you may not enter into AI features or have them generate, such as content that infringes the rights of others or impersonates a real person.

You may use generated audio and other content for both commercial and non-commercial purposes, as long as you comply with the law, our Terms, and the rights of others. However, you may not present it as the words or voice of a real person.

Information entered into AI features and the data they generate may be used not only to provide the Service and prevent misuse, but also to improve quality and develop AI features.

Closing Your Account

If you have unsettled transactions or rewards, upcoming events, or similar pending matters, you may not be able to close your account until they have been completed.

Handling of Personal Information

We use services from external providers for payments, authentication, cloud infrastructure, AI processing, and more, so your information may be handled outside Japan.

Analytics (Google Analytics) is used only if you give your consent in the cookie banner.

If you are a minor, please use the Service with the consent of a parent or other legal guardian where required.
